§ 73.160 Ferrous gluconate.
?。╝） Identity. The color additive ferrous gluconate is the ferrous gluconate defined in the Food Chemicals Codex, 3d Ed. （1981）, pp. 122–123, which is incorporated by reference. Copies may be obtained from the National Academy Press, 2101 Constitution Ave. NW., Washington, DC 20418, or at the National Archives and Records Administration （NARA）. For information on the availability of this material at NARA, call 202–741–6030, or go to: http://www.archives.gov/federal_register/code_of_federal_regulations/ibr_locations.html.
?。╞） Specifications. Ferrous gluconate shall meet the specifications given in the Food Chemicals Codex, 3d Ed. （1981）, which is incorporated by reference. The availability of this incorporation by reference is given in paragraph （a） of this section.
（c） Uses and restrictions. Ferrous gluconate may be safely used in amounts consistent with good manufacturing practice for the coloring of ripe olives.
?。╠） Labeling. The label of the color additive shall conform to the requirements of §70.25 of this chapter.
（e） Exemption from certification. Certification of this color additive is not necessary for the protection of the public health, and therefore batches thereof are exempt from the certification requirements of section 721（c） of the act.

?。╟）使用和限制條件：葡萄糖酸亞鐵在符合現(xiàn)行GMP用量條件下，可安全地用于成熟橄欖的著色。
?。╠）標(biāo)簽標(biāo)注方式：本著色劑的標(biāo)簽應(yīng)符合本章§70.25中的要求。
（e）免除產(chǎn)品證書：本著色劑免除產(chǎn)品證書以保護(hù)公眾健康。所生產(chǎn)的每批產(chǎn)品也免除按法規(guī)721（c）中所規(guī)定的需要產(chǎn)品證書。
