據(jù)外媒報道，澳大利亞國家健康水平監(jiān)管局（National Health Performance Authority）公布數(shù)據(jù)顯示，澳大利亞醫(yī)院超級細菌感染率減少，每年減少數(shù)百死亡病例。全澳只有四家醫(yī)院未能達到國家標準，其中兩家在新南威爾士州。
據(jù)報道，周四公布的最新數(shù)據(jù)顯示，致命的“金色葡萄球菌”導致嚴重血液感染數(shù)量，在上一財年減少了6%，包括對常用抗生素具有抗藥性的“超級細菌”--耐甲氧西林金黃色葡萄球菌（MRSA）。

Hundreds of lives have been saved by Australian hospitals that have managed to slash the number of people catching infectious bugs while in care.
However, rates still vary widely between hospitals, leading the National Health Performance Authority to warn hospitals with higher rates that they should learn from those wher infection rates are in some cases up to three times lower.
